Newbuilding 517 has returned from sea trials and the last blocks for NB-518 have arrived.
The successful sea trials of our new vessel NB-517 (IMO: 9895252) were completed on 20 May. The crew of the trials was tired after the voyage, but satisfied after receiving the necessary tests and finding that the ship’s performance met all the criteria set for it.
Extensive tests and adjustments were also carried out at the pier during the weekend before the actual departure to sea.
According to Jonas Packalén, project manager, the tests went well – about 800 tests were completed and closed during the tests.

The NB-518 is currently being built at our dry dock . Sunday 22.5. the last block transport of the ship arrived from our subcontractor. Later in the summer the vessel will be launched.
Regarding the safety of the vessel 517, we are testing the NB-517 – SH Vega alarm sound
Today is Tuesday 24.05. an alarm sound test for the ship under construction, NB-517 SH VEGA, shall be carried out from 19:00 to 20:00. The alarm will sound in the vicinity of the yard.
