HELSINKI SHIPYARD OY APPOINTED NEW SALES DIRECTOR

Ville Korpela, MSc (Nav. Arc.), has been appointed as Sales Director of Helsinki Shipyard Oy. He started as the shipyard’s new Sales Director on April 1, 2021. Korpela reports to CEO Esko Karvonen and is part of Helsinki Shipyard Oy’s Management Team.

Korpela has gained experience in the marine industry both at Helsinki Shipyard and in other marine industry companies, including sales and product development tasks. In his most recent position, Ville worked at Helsinki Shipyard Oy as project manager for ship NB 518.

Markku Kajosaari, Sales Director, who has long held sales director position at Helsinki Shipyard Oy, will continue as a member of the Management Team, as well in a strong role in sales, to ensure seamless transfer of decades of sales experience.
