Helsinki Shipyard is known for its’ more than 150 years of history in shipbuilding. Icebreakers and other arctic vessels have been built at the shipyard for more than 100 years.
Many solutions currently in use in cruise vessels originate from Helsinki Shipyard.
The shipyard is situated in Hietalahti, Helsinki and among its’ production facilities there are for example:
- a 280 meters long covered graving dock
- covered outfitting halls
- covered painting halls
- three outfitting quays
